Configuring OBS for recording multiple wireless mevo cameras

• install OBS - https://obsproject.com/fr
• install NDI Tools - https://ndi.video/tools/
• install the “DistroAV (Formerly OBS-NDI)” plugin - https://github.com/DistroAV/DistroAV/releases/
• install the “source record” plugin - https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/source-record.1285/

Now that you have the plugins, you will be able to add “NDI video sources” in OBS. When you add one of the mevo wireless cameras, you can configure the source like that :

• Bandwitch : Highest
• Allow hardware acceleration
• Latency mode : normal

We configure OBS so that it records “mosaic” of video sources + and independent files for each video source.

In OBS parameters :

• output -> recording
  • configure the path
  • mkv
  • NVIDIA NVENC HEVC
  • CBR
  • 6000 Kbps
  • P6
  • High quality
  • 2 passes (full resolution)
• output -> audio
  • 192kbps
• Advanced : Process Priority = High

= For the recording of separate files for every source = 

For each source, right click on its name, and go to the “filters” menu, configure the “Source Record” filter settings :

• streaming or recording
• set the path
• Name prefix
• mkv
• NVIDIA NVENC HEVC
• CBR
• 6000 Kbps
• P6
• High quality
• 2 passes (full resolution)
